Oh my, where did July go?
They seek him here, they seek him there!
Last time I was here it was June but then, so much has happened and I’ll try to keep it brief. 2, 3, 4 here we go. In June I changed jobs (the one that pays the bills that is). You know when you get a feeling about things, well it turns out we were right and they’ve wound the operations right back down so it felt a bit like rats from a sinking ship - Only I jumped from a rattly old dingy into a Med’ cruise ship!!
Working with the #titansfamily is (I think) going really well and we’re set for a blazing season when it kicks off next month (September). 2 friendly’s down and another coming up in Coventry this weekend (28th - photo’s to follow) and potentially some exciting projects to work with them on in the near future.
The U14 Boys are really lining themselves up for the season - it’s exciting to be involved with the sport again - even if it is only through the lens of a camera.
July alongside our annual trip to our happy place in Cornwall saw a bird of prey shoot. While in Cornwall I revisited the scene of my first ever daytime long exposure, this time using my more experienced eye to pick a vantage point - knee deep in the water with tripod and camera!
At the bird of prey shoot, obviously it was great to get upclose with these magnificent animals, but to photograph them was a treat. If you fancy a photography day or even just a day admiring them then Bird on the hand is the place for you (www.birdonthehand.co.uk)
Our photographic guides were Andrew James and Jon Adams of Foto Buzz, always on hand with hints and tips on getting the most from your day and equipment.
Told you I would try and keep it brief! I’ll ask that Alexa woman to remind me in a couple of weeks to blog off again, it’s pointless annoying you all with posts if I can’t do it regularly!!
Until next time, stay safe and well - Andrew
